the director of land planning research center. He has presided over thirty significant projects including Major Projects of National Social Science Fund, National Key Technology Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China during the 11th and 12th Five-Year Plan Period, Programs of National Natural Science Foundation of China, Programs of National Social Science Foundation of China, and projects from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Land and Resources, and other governments. He is a member of panelists in National Land Planning(2011-2030), General Plan for Land Use(2006-2020) and National Land Consolidation Plan(2011-2015) ,he has participated in the compilation of the above plans and National Island Protection Planning(2011-2020)

Selected Publications

He has published many monographs including “The Research on Land Use and Planning Strategy of China”, “Theory and Strategy of Chinese Land Use Planning” ,” Land Consolidation”,” Land Science during the Development ” . He has also published over 100 papers in “Economic Theory and Business Management”, ”China Soft Science”, ” China Land Science”, “Transactions of the Chinese Society of Agricultural Engineering” and other journals. He has obtained the first prize of ministerial outstanding achievements for 3 times, the second prize of ministerial scientific and technological progress for 5 times and ministerial excellent paper award.
