Examining the impacts of land use on cancer incidence through structural equation modeling: A case of the Pan-Yangtze River Delta, China

Highlights: An increasing trend of cancer incidence can be observed in the PYRD from 2000 to 2012; SEM analysis reveals that urbanization and land use pattern affect cancer incidence through environmental factors; Urbanization has a positive correlation with the incidence of certain types of cancer; Higher landscape shape index contributes to higher incidence of certain types of cancer.
