Recently, the Ministry of Land and Resources issued the 2016 Land and Resources Science and Technology Awards. The Project “Research on Planning and Design Technology and Application of Land Saving and Ecological Land Regulation” was awarded the second prize. The project was applied by Professor Yan Jinming, Professor Zhang Zhengfeng, Professor Zhang Zhanlu, Associate Professor Zhang Xiuzhi and Doctor Xia Fangzhou from the School of Public Administration and Policy.

Land and Resources Science and Technology Award was set by the Ministry of Land and Resources to give publicity to land and resources science and technology and render recognition and encouragement to those teams that make great contributions to the national economy, social development, and the fields of investigation, planning, management, reservation and rational utilization of land and resources. It aims to drive the awarded teams to continue their scientific spirit of being realistic and innovative, making more contributions to the scientific innovation of land and resources.
