The award ceremony of Renmin University of China 2016 May Fourth arts performance and the 22th May Fourth Culture and Arts Festival was held in Rulun Hall on May 8. Wang Dan, the Vice Party Secretary of our school attended this award ceremony. Our school was ranked fifth in total score in this May Fourth Culture and Arts Festival and won the title of “Excellent Organization”.

Yang Yunke, student of our school, presented us a humorous comic dialogue Kind Words Like Flowers and won relaxed and happy laughter of audiences. Meanwhile, the result of “One Spot in RUC, Twinkling Lights in City” mini-movie competition undertaken by our school was formally presented in the Festival, wherein Eclipse of our school won the third prize. Wang Dan presented prizes to mini-movie winners and crews.

In this May Fourth Culture and Arts Festival, the works of our school gained excellent achievements: the mini-movie Eclipse won the third prize; the student Zhao Wenwen from the crew of Little Big Man from Big RUC won the award of Best Actress; student Ma Yuqing won the award of the Best Improvising in Host Competition; student Yang Yunke won the second prize in integrated sketch show and folk art competitions; and the works RUC, My Seasons from the “Seasons” recital team composed of Chen Penglin, Zhu Yanxin, Chen Yuxin, Zhang Dongsheng, Zhang Daoyang, Ma Yuqing, He Juan, and Cheng Lu won the second prize in group recital in recital contest.

       Each award won by people of SPAP was inseparable from hard work and efforts of players and staff. Students of SPAP presented art talents and youth vigor, embodied the cooperation and aggressive spirit and wrote a beautiful poem for youth by excellent performance in the May Fourth Culture and Arts Festival.
