Articles soliciting notice of “the 8th Sino-US Public Administration International Academic Seminar” (Round II)
The “8th Sino-US Public Administration International Academic Seminar” will be held on June 14-16, 2016 in Renmin University of China. The theme of this seminar includes the transformation of public governance and the public value: process, mechanism and effect.
Since 1980s, countries all over the world have developed a new public governance structure to meet challenges. Because of different political, economic and social environments, the path, the impetus, the mechanism and the effect of the transformation of public governance are different in each country. The seminar is focused on the transformation problems of public governance in the global scope. We sincerely invite public administration scholars from China, the United States and other countries to submit articles and join the seminar.

Specifically related to (but not limited to) the following topics:
1) The theory and method of public governance transformation and innovation
2) The path, mechanism and effect of the transformation of public governance
3) Intergovernmental relations, administrative reform and the simplification of government functions
4) The public governance tools, emerging technologies and big data
5) The public finance, performance evaluation and evidence - based policy
6) The creation, accountability, transparency and trust of public value
7) The policy innovation, network construction and public private partnerships (PPPs)
8) The urban development and cooperative governance
9) The human resources and social security
10) The land use management innovation and sustainable development of real estate
During the meeting, the following forums will also be organized, including, public administration dean forum, public administration journal editor in chief forum, young scholar’s workshop, feminist and public administration forum.
The meeting papers can be written in Chinese or English, and the meeting language is Chinese or English.

Format requirements of abstracts and papers
Format requirements of abstracts: the abstract should include the title, 3-5 keywords; double space, A4 paper, and 1-2 pages. For the abstract submission, please indicate the title, author's name, work unit, professional title, communication way (contact address, zip code, telephone number, e-mail address) etc.
Format requirements of papers: A4 paper, double space; 12 point font; the text should contain basic information of the author; APA reference format. Excellent papers have the priority of being published on the cooperation journals of this meeting with the permission of the author.
